Gardeners are grateful for the slow magic of growth...
There’s gratitude in the first ripe tomato of summer, in the scent of basil brushed by a passing hand, in the way flowers track the sun and bees return faithfully to their favorite blooms.
Gardening teaches patience and rewards attention, and those rewards — color, nourishment, beauty — always feel like gifts.
But gardeners are also grateful for the less tangible harvests. The chance to begin again each spring. The peace that comes from dirt under fingernails and a rhythm slower than the world outside the gate.
We appreciate the birds that stay a little longer because of the shelter we've provided, and the community that grows when cuttings and surplus harvests are shared.
Above all, gardeners are grateful for connection — to nature’s cycles, to the place we call home, and to the reminder that nurturing life is one of the simplest, truest joys of all.
Thank you for being part of this local gardening community. Happy Thanksgiving.
