Bright and cheerful - these plants liven up the indoors during winter.
It thrives in bright, indirect light and prefers a warm, humid environment (occasional misting helps to maintain humidity; you can also place a tray of pebbles under the plant and add water just to the top of the pebbles).
Crotons require consistent watering, allowing the topsoil to dry slightly between waterings. They are sensitive to stress so avoid drafts, cold air, and sudden temperature changes.
If you can grow it successfully, you'll be handsomely rewarded by it's pop of color on gray winter days.
