You'll need only three items for this easy eco-friendly winter craft
Here's an eco-friendly orange peel bird feeder that will take only minutes to craft.
What you'll need (makes two bird feeders)
1 orange (more if you want to make multiple bird feeders)
Twine or sturdy string
Bird Food
How to make
Cut orange in half. Scoop out the contents of both halves. Poke four to six holes around the rim of the orange (about a half inch below the rim). Tie twine or string through each hole and bring the pieces of twine together at the top, tying them in a single loop. Make the twine as long as you want - this will be what hangs the feeder (make sure feeder is well off the ground so larger animals can't reach it). Fill with bird seed, hang from a tree branch. Check it every few days to make sure it is still has seeds and is clean (if it has bird poop take it down and throw it on the compost pile minus the twine which can be reused for the next time you make a bird feeder like this).
