There's no shortage of Summer festivals in Colorado this year!
Strawberry Days - June 20-22, Glenwood Springs (128th Anniversary of this festival!). Saturday is the best day to attend for the free strawberries and ice cream.
Colorado Lavender Festival, June 27-29, Palisade. Dozens of lavender farmers, artisan craft vendors, delicious food vendors, outstanding music, free lectures and workshops, and paid yoga and art classes, and farm tours.
Paonia Cherry Days - July 4-5, Paonia (a celebration saluting the crop with activity, parade, baking contest, and more).
Crested Butte Wildflower Festival - July 11-20, Crested Butte. Festival displays the beauty of the Gunnison Valley as it bursts into wildflower blooms. Guided hikes, garden tours, and educational workshops.
Hollyhock and Arts Festival, July 26, Saguache. Hollyhock, was one of the earliest plants brought to the New World and the town of Saguache has embraced them in a big way. This year will mark the 14th Annual Hollyhock Festival and the 16th Annual Arts Walk. The hours for this event will be 10AM until 3PM.
Niwot Flower Fest - August 2, Niwot. Flower farmers, makers, vintage market, music, plein air painting.
Eagle Mushroom and Wild Food Festival - August 8-10, Eagle. A weekend of foraging for mushrooms and wild edibles, dining, wine and beer pairings, and more.
Telluride Mushroom Festival, August 13-17, Telluride. Since 1981, the Telluride Mushroom Festival has brought together leading mycologists, artists, foragers and enthusiasts to explore all things fungi.
Palisade Peach Festival, August 15-16, Palisade. Plenty of ways to celebrate the best peaches in the world at this beloved festival.
Lafayette Peach Festival, August 16, Lafayette. Fresh peach pies, cobbler, and peach hand pies. Peach trucks with Palisade peaches for sale, vendor showcase, children's activities and more.
Fort Collins Peach Festival, August 16, Fort Collins. Peach related vendors selling pie, ice cream, peaches and more. Craft beer, street vendors, and live music.
Olathe Sweet Corn Festival, August 23, Montrose. Celebrating 35 years, serving free all you can eat Olathe Sweet Sweet Corn.
