Veg Fest - second Thursday of the month (April through October), Auraria Campus Denver.. A celebration of plant-based living, featuring vegan cuisine, speakers, and entertainment.
Paonia Cherry Days - July 3-4, Paonia (a celebration saluting the crop with activity, parade, baking contest, and more).
Crested Butte Wildflower Festival - July 10-19, Crested Butte. Festival displays the beauty of the Gunnison Valley as it bursts into wildflower blooms. Guided hikes, garden tours, and educational workshops.
Lavender Festival - July 18-19, Denver Botanic Gardens Chatfield. More than 2,000 lavender plants set the scene for this family-friendly celebration of Chatfield Farms' Lavender Garden.
Hollyhock and Arts Festival, July 25, 2026, in Saguache. Hollyhock, was one of the earliest plants brought to the New World and the town of Saguache has embraced them in a big way. 10am to 3pm.
Niwot Flower Fest - August 1, Niwot. Flower farmers, makers, vintage market, music, plein air painting.
Eagle Mushroom and Wild Food Festival - August 21-23, Eagle. A weekend of foraging for mushrooms and wild edibles, dining, wine and beer pairings, and more.
Telluride Mushroom Festival, August 12-16, Telluride. Since 1981, the Telluride Mushroom Festival has brought together leading mycologists, artists, foragers and enthusiasts to explore all things fungi.
Palisade Peach Festival, August 21-26, Palisade. Plenty of ways to celebrate the best peaches in the world at this beloved festival.
Lafayette Peach Festival, August 8, Lafayette. Fresh peach pies, cobbler, and peach hand pies. Peach trucks with Palisade peaches for sale, vendor showcase, children's activities and more.
Fort Collins Peach Festival, August 15, Fort Collins. Peach related vendors selling pie, ice cream, peaches and more. Craft beer, street vendors, and live music.
Olathe Sweet Corn Festival, August 22, Montrose. Celebrating 35 years, serving free all you can eat Olathe Sweet Sweet Corn.
Strawberry Days - already held (June 19-21) Glenwood Springs (129th Anniversary of this festival!). Saturday is the best day to attend for the free strawberries and ice cream.
Colorado Lavender Festival, already held (June 26-28) Palisade. Dozens of lavender farmers, artisan craft vendors, delicious food vendors, outstanding music, free lectures and workshops, and paid yoga and art classes, and farm tours.
