If you haven't been introduced to Deepots - you're in for a wonderful discovery. These long seedling pots allow the roots of seeds to get nice and robust, making transplanting less disruptive to the root system of tender and fragile seedlings.
These innovative planting pots come in a variety of lengths. They are used for a wide range of native plants, hardwoods and other seedlings. They tend to be very popular for tree seedlings, but some of our Garden Club members tried them for vegetable seedlings and report that they work really well.
All are an excellent choice for plant material requiring a deeper root ball.
