- Russian Sage

- Tickseed (shown in photo)
- Catmint (likes a good haircut mid-summer for a fresh flush of blooms)
- Cranesbill Geranium
- Japanese Anenome (spreads easily and fast so plant with caution)
- Garden Phlox
- Autumn Joy Sedum
- Apache Plume
- Rabbit Brush (Chamisa)
- Three-leaf Sumac
- Most Ornamental grasses
- Redleaf Rose
