Here are a few tips to help your plants thrive:
- If you haven't already, prune the plant back by as much as half, removing dead or decaying leaves. Do this outside on a warm day - it can be messy.
Water thoroughly. - While you're outside: look for insects. Use an insecticidal soap or make your own using plant-based dish soap to spray the entire plant before letting it dry and bringing it back inside.
- Hold off on feeding your plants during the winter when they are not actively growing.
- Most overwintering plants do best in a bright, sunny spot.
